10 Recommended Family Staycation Hotels this Season!

Spotted this article on Asiaone today.
Pretty interesting one especially for the family.
And I must say, staycations are a 'in' thing in Singapore now!
Hence, my blog! : - )

Well, for those of you who haven't got the time to read the article, here are the 10, with their price-tag.

1. Festive Hotel - From $400
Huge themed rooms, rather spacious with separate sleeping areas for parents and their little ones.

2. Wanderlust Hotel - From $300
Gosh, this hotel makes me feel like I'm Alice, in wonderland. I really love the concept.

3. Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa - From $476
It has finally re-opened its doors to all again. So time to check it out.
Features a three-storey tree house slide.

4. Hard Rock Hotel - From $450
What's a Hard Rock Hotel without its free-form pool and volleyball court that the kids could play in all day long.

5. Marina Bay Sands - From $359
Need I say more? There's something about their skypool right?

6. Changi Village Hotel - From $203
Now, this is a nice surprise tucked away in the corner of Singapore Island. Fresh air and spa available!

7. Rider's Lodge - From $150
If you would like to try our horse riding!

8. The Regent Hotel - From $510
Special touches at this hotel, with board games, welcome snacks, X-box consoles.

9. Ritz-Carlton, Millennia - From $350
It has always been one of my favorite, spacious and with a view to live for!
Comes withs kids sized bathrobes and slippers.

10. Orchard Hotel - From $249
Apparently, the hotel just launch a new child concierge service, 'Ask Alfred', where you could request for items for your child. I must go check this hotel out!

8 Tips to Plan For Your Staycation

I know most of you may not need anyone to tell you how to plan for a little getaway, but thought I should still put it up and keep it as my own online reminder list!

1. Plan ahead (Friends and loved ones are not at my beck and call!)
2. Research for the best ideas/ deals (I'll get all of you some great deals yeah.)
3. Clear up all outstanding work or household chores (Don't want to be worrying about them)
4. Get out of the RUT! (Favourite places are not the best places to explore)
5. Forget about packing (Use whatever that's provided by the hotel, pack really light, if need be.)
6. Leave all laptop, notebooks, notepads, iPads, Tabs etc at home! (Very guilty look... )
7. Be like a tourist (Yes, I'll see Singapore in a different light)
8. Take pictures! (What's a holiday without a photo! Facebook! I mean mobile FB...)

Oh, you may not want to pack like this ...
